What is MGR Social Club?
MGR is a non profit making club for the single, separated, divorced or widowed run by the members for the enjoyment of the company of like minded people, based around a 10 mile radius of Bromley and Orpington in Kent . The club holds about 90 events each month posted to our membership of approximately 600 people.
We invite anyone thinking of joining to come to our new members night at a friendly popular pub in Bromley, on the first Sunday of each month. Contact us for further details.
Isle of Purbeck Walking Weekend
At the end of October, early November, over 30 members ventured down to the Isle of Purbeck for a weekend of walking along the superb coastline.
Tucked away in the South Eastern corner of Dorset, Purbeck is some 60 square miles of land that is bounded on almost all sides by water and although not an island in the strict meaning of the word, it does convey a feeling that is particularly apt.
And another particularly apt word is “Water” which descended in bucket loads. However, our members are a spirited lot and not to be put off as the photos show.
