Valentine's Dance

Our most recent disco was held at the Crofton Halls in Orpington. Over 100 members and guests attended and danced the night away to a disco provided by Peter Scott. The optional "Red and White" theme added colour to the evening.

What is MGR Social Club?

MGR is a non profit making club for the single, separated, divorced or widowed run by the members for the enjoyment of the company of like minded people, based around a 30 mile radius of Bromley and Orpington in Kent . The club holds about 90 events each month posted to our membership of approximately 550 people.
 

Interest Groups

The activites within MGR social club are far and wide. We have golf groups, cycling, holidays, pub outings, rambling and theatre trips and we're here to help set up any new groups that you can think of.

History of MGR Social

MGR Social Club was founded by Dave Simmons, back in 1973, when he saw the need for a social club for single people (i.e. single by virtue of being unmarried, bereaved or divorced) and was started with ten members all from professional backgrounds.

Joining MGR

The cost of MGR annual membership is £30 from April to April with roughly pro rata reductions for each month less, plus an additional once only registration fee for new members of £10. Please request an application form to be sent via e-mail or post if you are interested in joining us.
